Blog 3: Favorite TV show/ Series

Hi again!

I'm not a person who watches many movies or series, but one of the series that I saw during the quarantine was Dr. House.

Dr. House is a medical drama (like General Hospital or Grey's Anatomy), with episodic format but that follows a linear history. The main character is Gregory House played by Hugh Laurie (yes, the same actor who is the father of Stuart Little), an unconventional doctor who diagnoses strange diseases that other doctors cannot do.

The most important characteristics of this TV show is the dynamics between the characters, this being a key point in the development of the plot and what most characterizes the series.

My favorite character is Dr. James Wilson, head of the oncology department and best friend of House, who often serves as comic relief but who in turn represents the viewer's feelings in the face of the situations that arise.

House is a perfect series if you want to see something casually. Finally, here is the link to one of my favorite scenes from the series, to see if you can motivate yourself to see it:

Blog 2: The best concert/ holidays I've ever had

Hi again!

In my case, I will talk about a festival "Cumbre del Rock chileno". I went in 2017, and it was incredible.

When I was studing in the high school, I delved into Chilean music. I had the oportunnity to go to concerts by Ernesto Holman, tributes to Robert Parra and some performance of "Los Tres". Well, "Cumbre del Rock" was a crossover of everything that I liked musically back then.

That day was very long, and it was very hot but that was not an impediment to enjoy the festival. Some of the artists I heard at the festival were: Julius Popper, Mon Laferte and Joe Vasconcellos, but the most emotional was Jorge Gonzalez, with his last concert. The stands were full, and the conditions in which he sang was very painful, but still, everyone sang and lived for the moment as it was the last of his career, which was very exciting.

At present, the music that I usually listen to is not the same, but nevertheless, that has not been an impediment to continue remembering that moment with joy and enthusiasm.

Blog 1: A Country I would like to visit

Hi everyone!

After thinking a lot, I would like to travel to Germany, because in my opinion, Germany is one of the most interesting countries in the world.  Germany has a very interesting history, especially in the last century, from the second world war to its división in the cold war, this led Germany to be one of the protagonists of the international plane until today.

One of the locations that I would like to visit is the Brandenburg gate, place where Ronald Reagan said "tear down this wall" in one of his most famous speeches towards the end of the cold war. Also, I would like to visit what remains of the Berlin wall, a symbol of the separation and subsequent unification of Germany

Personally, I don't usually drink beer, but if I had the opportunity to be at Oktorberfest in Munich, I would definitely leave that place very drunk and happy.

Also, I have heard that German beer is tasteful, so I would not lose anything by trying it.

Finally, Germany is the home of one of my favorite bands, which is Rammstein.

That is the summary of my reasons for visiting Germany.

What is your country to visit dear reader?
